Designers and architects gather to reimagine workplace furniture at an evening of art and inspiration in Nairobi

The event brought together a vibrant mix of interior designers, architects, and industry professionals for an evening of artistic expression — with Sunon’s signature Iron chairs serving as both canvas and muse.
The concept was refreshingly simple: pair a relaxed atmosphere with a dash of friendly competition, and invite Kenya’s design community to bring office furniture to life in their own creative way. From chalk sketches to pastel colourwork and bold painted designs, each chair became a statement piece, showcasing how function and art can beautifully coexist in the modern workspace.
More than just a social gathering, the event was a celebration of design thinking — and an opportunity to foster collaboration among creatives while spotlighting the versatility of Sunon’s globally renowned furniture.
